Your tasks
- Ensuring timely and accurate freight estimates to internal and external clients.
- Ensuring all appropriate rates / incoterms and rules are applied when producing a freight estimate
- Interpret request received on estimate request or mail.
- Information is obtained regarding freight rates, clearing rates, transport rates, de-group rates etc.
- Preparing estimates using Excel / quotation tool
- Assist with sales support on quotes for clients
- Corresponding with clients to follow up on estimates won or lost.
- Analysis on clients rates and data you are working with.
- Ensure client (internal / external) receive accurate quote in a timely manner.
- Record statistical information on an Estimate Register.
- Contact client for feedback on estimate.
- Ensure all estimates are sent out in a timely manner, correctly and ensure all Incoterms and rules
- are applied directly.
- Assist servicing / sales team, and constantly follow up on the success of securing the new clients
- as well as ensuring satisfied service to existing customers.
- Suggesting alternative solutions for clients.
- Compile, client rate profile updates, yearly increase documents and monthly reviews.
- Assisting the GM and the staff when applicable with functions outside of the job description to
- ensure that the branch runs effectively and efficiently according to local requirements
Your qualifications
- Min 5 years experience in similar field and/or with air and sea freight knowledge
- Good knowledge of customs regulations
- Excellent MS experience especially in Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good team player and willing to to assist any branch and team when necessary
